Bridge collapse in the Philippines, 4 people died

According to police, the incident happened on the afternoon of April 27 when the decades-old bridge collapsed. Police said that 12 vehicles traveling on the bridge fell into the river when bridge collapsed. The Austrian tourist was among the passengers traveling on these vehicles. More than 20 people survived the accident.

The bridge was built in the 1970s in the town of Loay. In 2013, a magnitude 7.2 earthquake damaged part of this bridge. After that, the authorities Philippines repaired this bridge and allowed traffic.

Bohol Governor Arthur Yap said the bridge collapsed due to overload.
