Changes to the driver’s license change file from June 15 that people need to know

Circular 04/2022/TT-BGTVT amending Circular 12/2017/TT-BGTVT stipulating training, testing and issuance of road motor vehicle licenses, in which amending the application file for license renewal driving from 15/6/2022.

Accordingly, from June 15, 2022, the application for changing the driving license issued by the Transport sector includes:

– An application form for the replacement of a driver’s license, made according to the form;

– The driver’s medical examination certificate issued by a competent medical facility according to regulations, except for the case of changing A1, A2, A3 class driver’s licenses;

According to current regulations, people who want to separate their driving licenses with a term and an indefinite period are not required to submit a medical examination, but from June 15, 2022, the person wishing to separate a driving license has a valid time limit. Term and unlimited time to submit a health certificate.

– A copy of the driver’s license, identity card or citizen identification card, or a valid passport with the number of the identity card or citizen identification card (for Vietnamese people) or a valid passport expiry date (for foreigners, overseas Vietnamese).
