Commencement of construction of housing complex at HUD Me Linh Central project

On April 28, Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation (HUD) held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a housing project complex in Thanh Lam – Dai Thinh 2 New Urban Area, in Thanh Lam Commune. , Dai Thinh, Me Linh district, Hanoi city.

Mr. Do Hoai Dong – General Director of HUD said that the housing project complex of Thanh Lam – Dai Thinh New Urban Area 2 (trade name: HUD Me Linh Central) has an area of ​​​​about 55.4 hectares, basically completed. investment in technical infrastructure as well as obligations to the State; completed, handed over and put into use the social housing project CT-08, the work to celebrate the 13th National Party Congress – with 268 apartments, floor area 26,388 m2, timely service part of the housing demand for policy beneficiaries in the area.

The next phase of the project will focus on building a chain of low-rise and high-rise housing projects… with a total floor area of ​​409,000 m2, of which the floor area of ​​social housing is 70,000 m2 in accordance with the approved planning.

On behalf of Me Linh district, on behalf of the Party Committee and authorities, Chairman of Me Linh District People’s Committee Hoang Anh Tuan committed to creating all the best conditions for the HUD Me Linh Central project to be deployed smoothly, quickly, and at the same time. also suggested the investor to carry out the construction of the project in accordance with the approved plan and the committed schedule.

According to the report of the Hanoi City Inter-sectoral Inspection Delegation to the City People’s Committee, Me Linh district currently has a total of 60 projects (including 44 projects to build urban areas, housing, 12 production and business projects, and 10 projects). 4 other projects), most of the projects that have reached the end of the project implementation schedule are approved by the competent authorities in the previous investment certificates, approval decisions, and project approvals.

According to the report, since the merger of administrative boundaries (in 2008), the City People’s Committee has issued a decision approving urban zoning (2013-2015) to the time of the monitoring report, the implementation of projects. still delay. The main reason is due to problems with the long-term planning adjustment, the slow adjustment of investment policy (from 3-5 years), the compensation, support, and site clearance (there are projects 13-year sentence).
