Doctor Strange actor and husband accused of molesting minors

Actress Zara Phythian, who plays the magician in the Marvel hit movie Doctor Strange, and her husband Victor Marke have recently been charged with multiple sex crimes. That included group sex with a 13-year-old girl.

The now-adult girl told Nottingham Crown Court that she was sexually abused by Zara Phythians between 2005 and 2008, when she was only 13-15 years old. Zara and her mistress, later husband Victor, met the plaintiff while working as a martial arts instructor in Nottinghamshire, England.

According to the testimony, the first time the relationship happened after the couple gave her alcohol and she was lured into oral sex with Victor Marke. The girl said that Victor then had sex with both of them. The couple were charged with 14 counts of child sexual activity. Zara Phythian and Victor Marke both deny the allegation.

“I knew it was wrong but I didn’t know how to get out of that situation or speak to anyone. At that time, I just tried to imitate Zara’s every move because I respected and admired so much. her,” BBC News quoted her as telling police.

According to Nottinghamshire Live, the court was also told by the woman that she had been “trained” by Zara Phythian to become better at sexual activity. She is estimated to have had sex with Victor Marke about 20 times.

The woman also said Mr Marke allegedly threatened to break her kneecap if she told anyone. “He just said that nobody would believe me if I told them. They always controlled me with force,” she told police.

Mr. Marke was previously charged with four counts, including assaulting a child while having sex with another 15-year-old between 2002 and 2003. Marke’s previous marriage fell apart because of a relationship with Zara Phythian, then still a teenager.

Zara Phythian is a martial artist and actress. She played Doctor Strange (2016), Tribal Get Out Alive (2020) and Accident Man 2 (2022). In the movie Doctor Strange with actor Benedict Cumberbatch, Zara plays the brunette mage Zealot.
