But I feel guilty, because I feel sorry for myself when I look at other people in the same industry.
After graduating from college, I went to work in a few places, but everyone was rich, using good cameras, expensive computers, iPads, driving new cars and living a luxurious lifestyle. It was as if I was lost in the world of marketing communications. It’s a well-known media company, specializing in the production of viral TVC videos, roughly advertising production. I applied for a job in the filming – editing department, and also planned to produce viral videos. The salary here is quite high, and it’s close to home, and they want to hire quickly, so I have the ambition that I will be accepted.
Before the day of the interview, I sent the employer to see the products and projects I have worked on in the past. They did not respond, just said they came to interview at the company. In the interview room, there was an HR lady, another brother worked in the filming – editing segment, a little later the leader of the whole department arrived.
At first, people just asked me basic questions, and asked what kind of machine I used. I answer honestly that the camera I use is a bit old, but I hope the company can provide more tools. At times like that, my boss always took me away, both to support the staff, and to monitor the filming progress.
However, my heart is worried. Because my boss is 30 years old, single, unmarried, and has been taking care of me lately. For example, he will prepare breakfast and lunch during long filming days.
