Mr. Dinh and his twin children Tien and Tien experienced many difficulties after they both graduated from university.

Mr. Dinh confided, the children have graduated from school for a few years, so life is now called temporary. He himself could choose to stay at home to do errands for the children to supplement, but he never intended to do so.

The rusty pump has accompanied Mr. Dinh for the past 10 years.

“Thinking back to the days when I had to spend time in the sewers, taking care of every penny to take care of my children’s education, sometimes when I met addicts or when it rained and didn’t know where to run, my life is much better now.

At night, when I come home, I go to work as a motorbike taxi driver, the money I earn is hard but free, my mind is also very comfortable, without any problems. The children are all good, having a job and studying is better than their parents,” Mr. Dinh said calmly.

Mr. Dinh confided that he himself often accompanied his children to review the memories of difficult times. Especially when sAfter the two children went to university for a while, Mr. Dinh stopped living in the sewer. Father and son moved to rent a small room near Tien’s wall, Hanoi Medical University.

The cost of accommodation, electricity and water, living expenses of 3 people, even if they try their best, it also costs 4-5 million per month. Dinh’s wife is in the countryside all year round, working as a farmer, sometimes going up to “supply” only gets a little rice and food.

“Every time I have a customer call me, regardless of distance, I go, I’ve worked hard to get used to it, so I don’t mind” – Mr. Dinh affirmed.

The expenses incurred become a big burden for the family. But at times like this and even in the future, father and son still find it difficult motivation to rise.

He also said that when the two children entered university, knowing that their family’s situation was difficult, many press agencies also came to write articles. Thereby many sponsors know and come to help, people give money to pay for school, people buy computers and school supplies. Those kind hearts helped to share difficulties with the family.
