Soft skin

Celebrity makeup artist Ash Kholm (who regularly does Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian and Madelyn Cline) says: ‘Light and breathable skin lightening products will be favored’.

Ash also recommends using cream or liquid formulas like cream blush and liquid highlighter that are combined into an ultra-light base. You can even skip foundation and apply concealer as soon as you need it, or mix your regular foundation with a moisturizer for a more natural look. ‘The more the skin can breathe, the better,’ says Ash.

She adds: ‘The graphic liner will be cherry-shaped as it gives more room for you to play around with and makes it easier to clean up mistakes as opposed to the traditional way of drawing eyeliner close to the lash line. ‘.

Ash agrees: ‘The eyes were, are and will continue to be a very creative way for you to express yourself. I tried eyeliner shapes to create a bold or subtle graphic eyes’.

Detailed eyebrow makeup

Mali says: ‘Eyebrows are a beauty brand, while acknowledging that the eyebrow trend has gone through many stages (deep brown pencil, thin eyebrows, …). This year, however, Mali predicts detailed brows will be one of the next standout makeup trends. ‘I absolutely love this technique because it can both restore and accentuate any brow condition,’ she explains.

Ash predicts: ‘Layered brows will continue to thrive in 2022. Freezing the brows also thickens the hairs, which makes them easier to style as well as to stroke their brows’.

Apply blusher

When it comes to blush, don’t be afraid to try new things with your blush placement. Mali says: ‘Applying blush in places like the temples and upper cheekbones will become common. Ash agrees: ‘I think we’re going to see a lot of blush makeup by the summer of 2022. This is the perfect time to start getting creative with warm blushes that gently coat the temples and canthus’.

Mali emphasizes: ‘The best thing about blush revitalization is that it has the ability to create a natural complexion alongside youthful skin and the illusion of contour can give you instant confidence’ .

Apply lipstick

Mali predicts: ‘Lipstick will appear everywhere. Inspired by Asian culture, this look focuses the color in the center of the lips and fades out towards the edges. This gives a natural effect’.

Double-winged eyeliner

Mali says: ‘You don’t have to be a makeup artist or overly passionate to apply it. Double wing eyeliner can suit everyone. Double-winged eyeliner comes in many styles and suits every eye shape’.

Glossy lip makeup
