During bilateral meetings with South Korean President-elect Yoon Suk-yeol and Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, Biden will “discuss opportunities to deepen our important security relationships, strengthen economic ties and expand close cooperation to bring practical results,” Ms. Psaki said.

Joe Biden’s visit to Japan and Korea will take place later US-ASEAN special summit in Washington from May 12-13.
