President Zelensky: Over 2 months of conflict with Russia, Ukraine lost 600 billion USD

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine conflict on February 24, Ukraine has suffered a total loss of up to 600 billion USD.
According to the newspaper The GuardiantThe above news was released when the President Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with officials of the local and regional governments of the country on April 27 to discuss the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war.
“According to preliminary estimates, Ukraine’s losses due to this war have so far reached 600 billion USD. More than 32 million m32 living space, more than 1,500 educational institutions and more than 350 medical facilities have been destroyed or damaged,” Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian leader added that hundreds of enterprises in the country were destroyed. About 2,500km of roads and nearly 300 bridges have been ruined or damaged.
Many places such as Mariupol, Volnovakha, Okhtyrka, Chernihiv, Borodianka and dozens of cities, towns and villages of Ukraine were damaged.
According to President Zelensky, more than 11.5 million Ukrainians have been displaced by the war and about 5 million of them have gone abroad, with 95% of the migrants wishing to return home.
Ukraine’s Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov added that the damage to Ukraine’s infrastructure due to the conflict with Russia has reached nearly $90 billion.
Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov said most of the damage occurred to Ukraine’s rail, road and bridge systems.
