Got Ferry currently has 9 ferries, including 5 large ferries with a maximum capacity of 20 cars, with a frequency of 20 minutes/trip. On average, every day on the Hung Kings Anniversary holiday, 1,300 cars, more than 130 passenger cars, 100 trucks and 1,700 motorbikes cross the ferry.

It is expected that, on the occasion of April 30 to May 1, vehicle traffic to Cat Ba will increase twice as much as during the Hung Kings Anniversary holiday, while the ferry transport capacity cannot meet it. Ferry waiting time increased to 5-6 hours. Even the ferry must carry through the night, until the next morning to bring all vehicles and passengers across the ferry. This poses a potential risk of traffic insecurity and affects the travel schedule of guests.
