Newly upgraded Nissan Navara cars have been found on specialized vehicles in Vietnam. The dealer said that the new Navara has been completed the registration procedure and will be launched around May or June here. The price of the car is yet to be revealed.
Also according to information from the dealer, the biggest change on the Navara 2022 is the engine. The 2.3L twin turbo diesel engine replaces the previous 2.5L, keeping the same power and torque, but the torque peaks at earlier rpm.
This engine produces 190 horsepower at 3,750 rpm and 450 Nm of torque at 1,500-2,500 rpm (earlier than the 2,000 rpm figure of the 2.5L machine).

Other operating aids such as 7-speed gearbox and powertrain are likely to remain the same as the old version. The most advanced version of Pro4X will still use a 7-speed automatic transmission and two-wheel drive system.
The actual photos show that the new Navara still has many version options. The most advanced version of Pro4X still has the same sporty appearance as before with glossy black paint details and 17-inch 6-spoke rims. The front lighting system is still quad-LED.
Tires have been changed from Bridgestone branding to Yokohama, with prominent rally-style white lettering. The lower version uses 18-inch wheels with two contrasting colors.

The leaked Pro4X interior does not seem to have changed. 3-spoke steering wheel integrated with many buttons, red logo, 8-inch central entertainment screen and leather seats with sports motifs … are featured inside the Pro4X version.

Based on the image of the windshield, it can be seen that the Pro4X version will still keep advanced safety technology, including features such as blind spot warning, lane departure warning or adaptive automatic solicitation…
Thus, this year, Navara is likely to be the first pickup model to be upgraded. A pickup model that also promises to have a new generation this year is the Ranger, but the launch date is expected to be in the third quarter.
Navara has not yet announced sales in Vietnam. According to information from a sales consultant, this is the best selling Nissan model at the dealer. Rival Ford Ranger is dominating the segment with a market share usually above 60%.
Currently, Navara 2021 is officially distributed in Vietnam with 4 versions, prices range from 748 million to 945 million.
