Right on the morning of the opening of the Bat Trang Tourism Week, the people of Bat Trang pottery village held a procession for the ancestors of the pottery profession. This is also the first festival of the village since 2 years of being affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.

Sharing with the newspaper, Mr. Hoang Nghia, a visitor to Bat Trang said: “For the past two years because of the epidemic, I have not been able to go to Bat Trang. To me, Bat Trang is not just a simple craft village, the livelihood of the locals. People here, but Bat Trang craft village is also a tourist destination for me to introduce to friends in Ho Chi Minh City, whenever I go to Hanoi to play.The Bat Trang craft is recognized as a non-cultural heritage. National-level objects are completely worthy, because Bat Trang has a long history and great cultural value”.

Mr. Do Van Duong, a resident of Bat Trang commune expressed: “I am very happy and proud because Bat Trang village is not only famous for its long-standing traditional craft village but is now also a famous tourist destination serving tourists come to visit”

At this event, the Hanoi Department of Tourism also organized the awarding of decisions and affixed signs of standard shopping and dining establishments to serve tourists for Cuong Duyen ceramic production facility of Cuong Duyen ceramic production company.
