Everyone around was surprised, they saw fires coming from several cars.

Twitter user @igorsushko also posted a clip of the fire, under the caption: “7 cars burned in Moscow”.

The cause of the fire has yet to be announced.

The incident happened after local authorities in three Russian regions near Ukraine reported explosions on the night of April 27.

In it, an ammunition depot in the Belgorod region is said to have caught fire.

Several suspected attacks from Ukraine have also been reported in the Voronezh and Kursk regions.

In Kursk, there are unconfirmed reports that the Russian air defense system shot down a Ukrainian military drone.

In the Voronezh region, there are reports of Russian air defense forces working against an attack on the strategic Baltimore airbase.

Vyacheslav Gladkov, governor of the Belgorod region, said on Telegram: “At about 3:35 (local time), I woke up to a loud bang. As I was writing this post, three more explosions were heard.”

“According to preliminary information, an ammunition depot is on fire near the village of Staraya Nelidovka,” he added.

No civilian casualties were reported.

Commenting on the explosions in Russia, Ukrainian presidential adviser Volodymyr Zelensky, Mr. Mykhailo Podolyak denied accusations that Kiev was behind these actions, and said that these are all Russian fuel storage areas.

Writing on Telegram, he said: “The causes of military infrastructure in the border area exploding can be quite diverse.”
