Pochettino ‘100% guarantee’ to stay with Kylian Mbappe at PSG

When asked at a press conference about the possibility that he and Mbappe will be at the club next season, Pochettino replied: “100% in both cases”.

But he added: “That’s what I can perceive, feel today. In football you can expect a lot of things but that’s how I feel today.”

Pochettino has a contract until 2023 but PSG sporting director Leonardo was less reassured, saying on Saturday that he wanted to “talk to everyone, not only the manager but also the players, to clarify situations and make strategic decisions”.

French media reported that the Qatari owners of PSG had offered Mbappe a huge amount of money, but the 23-year-old World Cup winner was hot-tempered and cold. Leonardo said Mbappe is still “thinking” about his future and a meeting between Mbappe’s family and PSG took place last week in Doha.
