Accordingly, in the afternoon, going up Bao Loc pass from Da Huoai district to Bao Loc city banned large trucks from 3pm to 10pm on April 29. On April 30, the ban time applies from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. In the opposite direction, vehicles are banned from 3pm to 10pm on May 2 and from 6am to 3pm on May 3.
The Provincial People’s Committee has directed the Department of Transport to coordinate with the Road Administration Department IV (under the General Department of Roads) and relevant localities to organize traffic according to the above plan, to widely publicize information to the people. visitors know.
Lam Dong Department of Transport has requested relevant parties to inspect and handle overloaded vehicles at both ends of Bao Loc Pass, to limit the risk of unsafety and congestion caused by slow-moving vehicles.
Bao Loc Pass about 10 km long, two lanes, located on National Highway 20 – one of the main routes from Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai to Da Lat City (Lam Dong). With many sharp turns, steep slopes, the pass is one of the dangerous roads for drivers, with many accidents.
On April 30 and May 1, a lot of tourists from the Southeast provinces are expected to flock to Da Lat, making National Highway 20 the risk of overloading and congestion.
