Samsung’s Q1 revenue increased to a record thanks to smartphones and chips

The mobile phone business contributes significantly (approximately KRW 3.82 trillion) to the company’s overall profit. The Samsung Display division also enjoyed a similar track record thanks to strong sales from major smartphone makers, contributing 1.1 trillion KRW (approximately $881 million) to Samsung’s operating profit. Demand for Neo QLED and big-screen TVs also helped the picture business thrive.
