Carnaval Ha Long is back after two years of Covid-19

On the evening of April 29, thousands of people and tourists flocked to Ocean Park beach, Bai Chay ward, Ha Long city to enjoy the Carnaval Ha Long 2022 program.

“The holidays are long, so my family decided to go on a trip to Ha Long. It’s been two years since I watched the Ha Long carnaval show, this year was organized very professionally and vibrantly. I feel very happy. glad that the tourism industry is recovering,” said Mr. Nam, from Hai Duong, happily when participating in the program.

After a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19, this year the program was re-organized when it was reopened for tourism. The event marked the chain of demand-stimulating activities of Quang Ninh. Carnaval Ha Long is one of the tourism products organized by Quang Ninh province for many years before Covid-19.

With the theme “Ha Long – A wonder shining with SEA Games 31”, the art show has four parts staged on stage and a street carnaval on a vibrant and colorful 1km road, performed by nearly 2,000 actors, flowers, models on stage, on the street… to introduce to international tourists and friends the world’s heritage and natural wonders – Asia’s leading destination.

The program shows pride in Ha Long City being honored as an ASEAN clean tourist city; introduce and promote new tourism products of Ha Long. Especially, this is an opportunity to promote to Southeast Asian tourists when Ha Long City is the venue for some competitions of the 31st SEA Games.

With the desire to affirm Ha Long City as a “safe, friendly and attractive” destination, after efforts to prevent and control the epidemic, tourism activities are attracting a large number of tourists to Ha Long City. .
