Congested for more than 10km, Cau Gie highway to Ninh Binh discharges the station for nearly 1 hour
The traffic on the Phap Van – Ninh Binh route is too crowded, making the new Cao Bo – Mai Son expressway more than 10km congested. Traffic police on the route asked to discharge Cao Bo toll station to relieve congestion.
A representative of the Vietnam Expressway Development Investment Corporation (VEC) said that the discharge time of Cao Bo station is nearly 1 hour (from 8:00 am to 8:56 am). The reason for discharging the station is that the new Cao Bo – Mai Son expressway has only 2 one-way lanes, the traffic is too crowded, so there has been a traffic jam lasting more than 10km.
Along with discharging the station, in order to reduce the load on Cao Bo – Mai Son expressway, the traffic police force divided the flow to guide people to exit Cau Gie expressway to Mai Son to Liem Tuyen intersection, Dai Xuyen to Highway 1 and enter the bypass road. Phu Ly city to Ninh Binh…
Also according to a representative of VEC, from 6 am at the intersections on Phap Van – Ninh Binh highway, there was a traffic jam. The forces must divide lanes and streams to ensure the best circulation for traffic participants.
Estimated traffic volume on the route this morning is about 65-75 thousand vehicles.
