This morning (April 30), on Dong Van Cong Street, Thu Duc City (HCMC) towards Cat Lai Ferry (connecting Thu Duc City with Dong Nai), vehicles were severely congested, stretching for kilometers.

Ferry Management Enterprise Youth Volunteers – the management unit of Cat Lai Ferry Terminal said that in the morning of April 30, the number of passengers on Cat Lai ferry increased very high. Since 6 am, Cat Lai ferry has been seriously congested. It takes people 2 hours to cross the ferry.

Talking to PLO, a representative of the Youth Volunteer Ferry Management Enterprise said that in order to best serve people’s travel during the holiday, Cat Lai ferry mobilizes the maximum amount of vehicles and human resources. In which, the enterprise will run a maximum of six ferries and two backup ferries.

On April 30, Cat Lai ferry will be the peak day to welcome guests during this holiday. It is expected that during this holiday there will be about 70,000 visitors / day. Therefore, to ensure service to the people, the Cat Lai ferry management unit will mobilize an additional 30% of personnel to clear and serve people during the holiday.
