On the afternoon of April 30, two consecutive drowning incidents occurred in Nghe An, leaving two children missing. Authorities are still trying to find the whereabouts of the victims.

Accordingly, at about 4 pm on April 30, NVT (born in 2005, residing in Minh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An) went to the Dao river area (the section passed through the territory of hamlet 4, Dai Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district). to bathe in the river. While taking a bath, T. unfortunately drowned.
Upon receiving the news, the local authorities, in coordination with functional forces, organized the search. By the evening of the same day, T.’s whereabouts had not yet been found.
Before that, at 2:45 p.m. on the same day (April 30), while searching for mussels on the Lam River, passing through Cam Thang village, Cam Son commune (Anh Son district, Nghe An province), TTTV’s grandson (SN 2007, living in Vietnam) The local area also unfortunately drowned.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Team No. 5 (Department of Fire and Rescue Police, Nghe An Provincial Police) mobilized rescue vehicles and specialized equipment to quickly arrive at the scene, deploying to search for victims.
Currently, the authorities are still trying to find the whereabouts of the two children.
