VN-Index added nearly 16 points before the holiday, stocks related to FLC increased strongly

Opening the last trading session before the holiday April 30 – May 1, stock market facing strong selling pressure. VN-Index struggled strongly below the reference level. Cash flow today tends to shift to small and medium group.

Real estate and construction group recorded a series of gainers such as CII, CEO, NBB, QCG, DIG, HQC, HUT, IDJ… At 9:46 am, VN-Index down 3.33 points (0.25%) to 1,347.66 points.

However, towards the end of the morning session, the market movement became more and more positive with the prosperity of many stock groups. Many blue-chips gained strongly, pushing all the main indexes of all three exchanges to record in green.

Pausing in the morning session, VN-Index increased by 10.43 points (0.77%) to 1,361.42 points. HNX-Index increased 2.41 points (0.67%) to reach 362.61 points, UPCoM-Index increased 1.04 points (1.01%) to 103.73 points.

In the afternoon session, the recovering green color spread more evenly among industry groups. VN-Index once increased by nearly 18 points, but the pressure at 1,370 points made the index gradually narrow its gaining momentum.

At the end of the week, VN-Index increased by 15.81 points (1.17%) to 1,366.80 points. On the HoSE, there were 339 gainers, 99 decliners and 45 standstill stocks. VN30-Index also gained 16.43 points to 1,417.31 points.

Big stocks that gained strongly today included BVH, VRE, MWG, POW, VIC, KDH, BCM… Besides, many banking stocks like BID, ACB, TCB, MBB, OCB, HDB… also increased significantly. Stocks of securities, oil and gas, steel… all traded positively with the green color dominating.

Notably, the group of stocks related to Mr. Trinh Van Quyet (FLC) and Mr. Do Thanh Nhan (Louis) continued to increase strongly, in which there were ceiling gainers like ROS which increased by 6.84% to close at 5,310 VND/ shares, BII increased by 10% to 7,700 VND/share, TGG increased by 6.82% to 14,100 VND/share…

HNX-Index increased by 5.63 points (1.56%) to reach 365.83 points. The whole floor recorded 184 gainers, 46 losers and 38 standstill stocks. UPCoM-Index increased 1.62 points to 104.31 points.

Market liquidity reached nearly 22 trillion dong. Foreign investors’ trade was a bright spot when they bought about 90 billion dong on HoSE.
