Who told Tru Bat Gioi in Cao Gia Trang to wait for Tang Tang?

In volume 7 Journey to the West, 1986, it is not by chance that Sun Wukong has captured Tru Bat Gioi, it is not by chance that Tru Bat Gioi is present at Cao Lao Trang’s house.

Despite being banished to the world by the Jade Emperor, reincarnated as a pig, and cultivated to become a star, the Bat Gioi still suffered from all kinds of disabilities.

Bat Gioi transforms into a maid, eats well and is healthy and is loved by the Cao family and agrees to marry a daughter, Cao Thuy Lan.

Talking about Cao Lao Thai and his wife, they have 3 daughters and Thuy Lan is the youngest.

When teachers and students Duong Tang – Ton Ngo Khong met Tru Bat Gioi in Cao Lao Trang, he had a family, worked very hard every day “plowing the soil to dig up the soil, carrying bricks and carrying bricks, cultivating the fields, harrowing, sowing seeds. cultivate rice, earn a living …”.

Sun Wukong had a compliment in front of Cao Cao – Tru’s father-in-law that “Even though he has a big stomach, he ate some rice and water from him, but he still did a lot of good work for him. For years he earned. No matter how much money he earns, it’s all thanks to his strength, he’s never done any harm…”.

Tru Bat Gioi loves Thuy Lan very much, taking care of her, making her body wear a brocade shirt with gold bracelets, four seasons with fruits to enjoy, eight extra hours of cooking vegetables …”.

However, on the wedding day, due to her voracious appetite, Tru was revealed to be an ugly pig.

The whole family was scared, Cao Thuy Lan panicked and asked to cancel the marriage. Angered, Bat Gioi kidnapped Thuy Lan and locked her in the backyard of her family.

After being subdued by Ton Ngo Khong, he followed Master Tang Tang to ask for sutras, but Tru Bat Gioi’s heart was still heavy with the matter of his wife and children. Before leaving, he told his father-in-law to “take care of the house and children carefully. , I went back home to do business as before…”.

Perhaps it was for this reason that every time Tang Tang was in trouble, Tru Bat Gioi “had an excess of murky water to fish”, specializing in backing up and insisting on going home.

Back to the story that Tru Bat Gioi was present at the Gao Elder’s house. It’s not a coincidence, it’s a planned thing. But who did this?

That character was revealed by Tru Bat Gioi himself to Ton Ngo Khong.

Being beaten by Sun Wukong, Tru Bat Gioi said angrily: “Bon Ma On, if you beat me to death, you will have to suffer a heavy crime. Stop hitting me.”

Sun Wukong said: “Why are you here?”.

Tru Bat Gioi honestly declared: “The Bodhisattva told me to stay here and wait for someone to get the sutras”, then the Eight Precepts told Tang Sang, “Master, the Bodhisattva told me to stay here and wait for you. The Bodhisatta gave a name. For me to be Tru Ngo Nang, I have to abstain from three things.”

So that’s it, everything of Tang Sang and the journey to gain disciples is in the hands of Buddha and Bodhisattva!

Frankly speaking, Tru Bat Gioi’s nature is gentle and simple. The Cao Lao family is somewhat greedy when taking advantage of Tru to enrich their family.

That said, Tru Bat Gioi represents the word Love. The word Love represents human desires and desires. It is these desires that also contribute significantly to making people hate the Mind (Ton Ngo Khong).

Because of that, Wukong and Bat Gioi quarrel often and Tang Tang is more fond of Bat Gioi because in the end, whether good-natured or enlightened, they like to listen to sweet words.

The process of asking for sutras is actually a process of human self-improvement through trials.

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva named Thien Bong Nguyen Soai as Tru Ngo Nang, the word “Tru” means pig, symbolizing the cultivator’s desire; and the word “Capable” means talent, bravery, and ability.

Tru Ngo Nang means “pig (reincarnated) realizes his ability” to refer to the Bat Gioi always overestimates himself and forgets to have a terrible body.

When he became a disciple of Tang Sang, he named the Eight Precepts, which means “Eight Restricted Boundaries” (no killing, no stealing, no lust, no slander, no drinking alcohol). , do not wear makeup, do not lie on a bed that is too wide, be a vegetarian) to remind the Eight Precepts to always know how to repair themselves.

Of the three masters, Bat Gioi seems to be the “inferior” one.

The Eight Precepts are ordinary mortals, lazy and depraved, with lustful behavior. With such a starting point, the Eight Precepts in the process of cultivation must also face all human hearts and desires.

Or in other words, because of the weakest foundation, the requirements for the Eight Precepts only stop at “Wu Nang” and “Eight Precepts”, which also means that it is necessary to keep the precepts, to correct the human mind, to have can enter the samanas.

When coming to Linh Son mountain to understand the true scriptures, Buddha Tathagata said: “Although the temperament is still there, the mood is not over yet, but along the way carrying the luggage with merit, your family ordained the main position as the Pure Dan Messenger.” .

Hearing this, the Eight Precepts grumbled: “Everybody has become a Buddha, why am I the only one who is the Messenger of Pure Land?”.

Here, the author’s intention is too clear, perfecting a person is not about removing the lustful mind but directing that mind to a healthy path.

The Tathagata again said: “At home, you eat well, you are lazy, and your stomach is very large. But throughout the four great continents in the world, places that admire my religion a lot. For all the Buddha’s work, I leave it to your family to do the purification. piano, is also a position to have food, why not good?”.

But besides a Zhu Bajie with the above disadvantages is a character with a lot of positive virtues.

First of all, Tru is a stubborn person, never succumbing to any demonic obstacles, even the most ferocious or encountering the most terrible situations (being boiled, cooked, beaten, tied up and drowned). river, hung on a pole for several days…).

Tru Bat Gioi is the most complex character and therefore, he is also the most “human” character, both good and bad, and the most vivid character in Journey to the West.
