This is Korea’s next step so that people can really return to normal life after the country has abolished most of the regulations on social distancing to prevent the COVID-19 epidemic from April 18. .

The reason for the order to remove masks is because experts estimate that the level of COVID-19 infection in the country will continue to decrease significantly. Despite lifting the requirement to wear masks outdoors, Korean authorities still recommend that people wear masks in shopping malls or city parks, where crowds gather at peak hours.

For indoor and outdoor events with more than 50 people, people still have to wear masks.
