3 days before admission, the boy had a high fever, went to a local hospital for examination and treatment but did not improve, so his family took him to Vinh Long Xuyen A General Hospital for treatment.

On admission, the doctors noted that the baby had a high fever, red lips and throat, and vomiting. Thoroughly exploit the medical history from the family, the child has had COVID-19.

Blood tests showed a very high inflammatory index, an elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate. After consultation, the doctors determined that the baby had multisystem inflammatory syndrome and are treated according to the protocol of the Ministry of Health.

After 2 days of treatment, the baby had no fever, re-tested, almost returned to normal and was discharged after 5 days of treatment.

According to the doctors, fortunately, the boy did not show any signs of coronary artery damage on the echocardiogram.
