Laos consults the people on the opening

Accordingly, the reopen border gates for general entry and exit activities in Laos will be consulted by people before submitting to the Government of this country for approval.

The contents of consultation include agreeing to open all international border gates for Lao citizens and foreigners; allows citizens of countries that have bilateral or unilateral visa exemption agreements with Laos to enter without a visa.

In addition, Laos will consult with people on regulations related to vaccination certificates and testing upon entry.

The Lao Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism recently proposed to the Government of this country to allow the relaxation of some restrictions to create favorable conditions for tourists. The Lao Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism also recommends that the Lao Government issue visas on arrival and e-visas to make it easier for tourists to enter the country; suggested the relevant ministries and sectors to improve and simplify the online visa issuance system on the website laogreenpass.gov.la, thereby further simplifying the entry process.
