Pam and Jeremy Salda are from Oklahoma City, the main character of the story has been dating since August 2020. After hearing about some airlines’ non-mandatory mask wearing regulations, the couple quickly decided to buy a plane ticket to Las Vegas, USA to hold their wedding.

Jeremy Salda said: “Within an hour and a half, we booked the plane tickets and the hotel. Pam ordered a wedding dress online the day before the flight.”

The couple scheduled an appointment with a church in Las Vegas to hold their wedding there at 9 p.m. local time. However, the unexpected happened then changed the outcome completely.

Pam and Jeremy Salda ‘reluctantly’ took their love to the next level, literally, they married while flying in the sky at an altitude of about 11,200 meters.

When the couple stopped at the Dallas/Fort Worth airport to transfer flights, they experienced several delays and finally heard the shocking news that their flight to Las Vegas was cancelled.

While waiting, Pam and Jeremy Salda met Chris Mitcham, another passenger on the same flight to Las Vegas. He overheard the story of Pam and Jeremy Salda’s wedding in Las Vegas, so Chris Mitcham personally offered to help the couple.

The trio later found another flight bound for Las Vegas with the last four seats left, but they had to move to another airport about 25 minutes away.

Pam said: “We had about 50 minutes left before the time, we called a car to get there as quickly as possible. Because we were worried about not being on time, we had already put on our wedding clothes before, so no one could see us on the road. congratulate us”.

Finally, all three made it to the airport and in time to check in to board a flight to Las Vegas. But they couldn’t have imagined that this was also their wedding ceremony.

When the plane took off, Pam realized that the time for the appointment to be held at the church was not in time, so the couple quickly changed their minds and made a bold decision.

She explained the story and talked about getting married in flight with the crew. She was surprised when the crew agreed and gave their utmost support.

Some flight attendants have turned the space inside the plane into a wedding venue. They use white toilet paper to hang in the middle of the way to be the ceremony for the bride and groom. The new friend accompanied the couple as a witness to the marriage. Julie Reynolds, a flight attendant happily accepts to be Pam’s bridesmaid.

The customers on the flight that day were the most special guests for the bride and groom. A professional photographer also on board gave the couple the best wedding photos. Their wedding cake was a small donut that a passenger brought with him when he boarded the plane.

“Unexpectedly, everything turned out like that, full and interesting,” Pam said.

Even people give the couple a small notebook to make a temporary guestbook. The wedding guests recorded their feelings and wished the bride and groom in the notebook. Some people say that they are very happy, happy with the couple, they are like watching a romantic comedy in front of them.

After the exciting in-flight wedding, the couple plan to hold the ceremony in August attended by family and friends in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Now, however, they will have some extra special guests who are the crew of that day’s flight.
