A man marries his daughter to one of his relatives, after the groom arrives late at the wedding venue.
India Today newspaper has just reported a rare incident that happened in Buldhana district, Maharashtra state – India.
The wedding was planned in Malkapur Pangra village, Buldhana district on April 22. Everything was prepared and the wedding ceremony time was set at 4 pm.
The bride and her family waited, but at 20 o’clock, the groom did not come to the altar. He and his friends then non-stop dancing and drinking.

“The groom and his friends got drunk and went to the altar. They started fighting” – said the bride’s mother.
When the groom arrived at the ceremony, the bride’s father flatly refused to allow his daughter to marry and then consulted a relative who attended the wedding. Eventually, his daughter married that relative.
“The wedding was supposed to take place on April 22, but the groom’s family was busy dancing. The wedding ceremony was at 16 pm, but they arrived at the altar at 20 pm. So I let my daughter get married. with one of my relatives” – the bride’s father explained.
It is not clear how the groom’s reaction after the sudden “turning of the car” of the bride’s family.
