However, the city area has many small alleys, difficult to access, so transporting goods is very limited, goods are perishable and very hard for soldiers. Even stretchers are used to bring goods into the alleys. But the effectiveness of these means is not working and losing strength, “said Colonel Tuan.

Recalling the wise and quick decisions at that time, the Political Commissar of the 5th Division shared: “The logistics department has studied the ways and means of transporting goods and weapons to the battlefield in the past and proposed put the bikes stored in the warehouse to the test.
