In the 16th minute, Albrighton stretched from the right corner, making it difficult for Romero to block in front of Daka’s boot. The host played better after 20 minutes of play, thanks to the mobility of Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura and Sessegnon. Leicester – one of the three teams with the fewest clean sheets in the Premier League – began to show errors in defense from the middle of the first half.

The England striker stole the ball from Nampalys Mendy’s slightly immature cross, but hit the Danish goalkeeper. The visitors did not have many chances to finish in the second half of the first half. The second half took place at a higher pace, when Leicester raised their squad to find an equalizer, opening up spaces for Tottenham. The host is sharp in the attack phase. In the 60th minute, the substitute Dejan Kulusevski created an assist for Son Heung-min to manage in the penalty area and then launched a sinking kick to the far corner to double the difference. The South Korean striker maintains his status as Tottenham’s top scorer this season, with an average of one goal every 141 minutes.

Tottenham kicked slowly after taking a two-goal lead but still had chances from speedy counter-attacks. After Kane and Son Heung-min missed difficult finishing situations from a tight angle, the home team got a third goal in the 79th minute. Receiving a pass from Kulusevki outside the penalty area, Son Heung-min took a step, then cut his heart. with the left foot to put the ball into the high corner. Schmeichel flew to his full height but couldn’t touch the ball.

He is the second player to score 10 or more goals with his non-dominant foot in a single season, after Kane in the 2017-2018 season. The 29-year-old striker maintains the opportunity to compete for the top scorer with Mohamed Salah when he was three goals behind his opponent.

Son Heung-min’s masterpiece put an end to Leicester, despite the two pillars Jamie Vardy and Youri Tielemans of the away team came on midway through the second half. In the last minutes, coach Rodgers’ teachers and students created two scoring opportunities. In the 88th minute, Vardy headed near the wall to the far corner to send the ball down the vertical post.
