23 students of Hanoi University received a bachelor’s degree in international business
Hanoi University has just held the graduation ceremony of the 5th class of the Bachelor of Business program, majoring in Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Management, awarded by IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences (Austria).
The event was attended by Mr. Hans Peter Glanzer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to Vietnam and Dr. Karl Ennsrellner, Rector of IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Trao, Rector of Hanoi University congratulated 23 new graduates of the 5th course with the hope that they will be “new winds” for the existing tourism market. Much has changed after the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Bachelor of Business Program in Tourism, Hotel and Tourism Management is a joint training program between Hanoi University and IMC KREMS University of Applied Sciences (Austria). The program started its first course in 2014. Up to now, the program has had 5 graduation courses with 107 bachelors. The entire program is taught in English, the quality of training is directly managed and supervised by IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences according to international standards.
This is one of the on-site study abroad programs with the highest direct teaching time of foreign lecturers today (25%).

The program’s subjects cover all the important practical knowledge and skills in tourism and entertainment management, from developing marketing strategies to human resources and customer relations. , professional ethics and service quality assessment. The program also teaches specialized modules that are still very new in Vietnam such as resort and wellness tourism, event tourism, and sport tourism.
