American actress Angelina Jolie makes a surprise visit to Ukraine
According to Ukrainian officials, American actress Angelina Jolie on April 30 made a surprise visit to the city of Lviv.
Lviv Governor Maksym Kozytskyy said that actress Angelinia Jolie, special envoy of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) since 2011, has come to talk to the people, including children who are living in poverty. He was treated for injuries after the missile attack on the Kramatorsk city station, Ukraine, earlier last month.

“Jolie was touched by the stories of so many children. One little girl even told Jolie about her dream,” Kozytskyy told The Associated Press.
According to Mr. Kozytskyy, the American actress then visited a boarding school, talked and took pictures with the students, and promised to “come back”. “Jolie met with displaced people at Lviv’s central train station, as well as Ukrainian volunteers who specialize in providing support and medical advice to refugees,” Kozytskyy added.
“This visit took us all by surprise. A lot of people who saw Jolie in Lviv couldn’t believe it was her. But since February 24, Ukraine has shown the world many surprises,” Kozytskiy said.
