No seat belts

Regarding the level of sanction, in Clause 3, Article 5 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, the error of not wearing a seat belt will be specifically fined as follows:

– A fine ranging from VND 800,000 to VND 1 million shall be imposed on drivers who do not wear seat belts when driving on the road and carrying people in cars without seat belts (at locations equipped with seat belts). full) while the vehicle is running.

– A fine ranging from VND 300,000 to VND 500,000 shall be imposed on persons transported in cars without seat belts (at locations equipped with seat belts) while the vehicle is running.

Forgetting the turn signal when changing lanes or changing directions

With a new driver, when getting in the car, it will often be nervous, so they have not even had time to get used to the functions on the car. Therefore, the error of forgetting to turn signals when the vehicle changes lanes or changes direction is often very common and easy to make.

According to Article 5, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP stipulates the fine levels for cars not turning signals in necessary cases, specifically as follows:

A fine ranging from VND 200,000 to VND 400,000 shall be imposed for stopping or parking a vehicle without a warning signal.

– Changing lanes without turning signals will be fined from VND 400,000 to VND 600,000

– Change of direction without turn signal will be fined from 800,000 – 1,000,000 VND.

– Driving without turn signal will be fined from 800,000 to 1,000,000 VND.

– Changing lanes on highways without turn signals will result in a fine of between VND 3 – 5 million and a driving license suspension for 1-3 months.

– When passing without turning signal, you will be fined from 3 to 5 million VND.

Pass the yellow light

According to Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, amended and supplemented by Decree 123/2021/ND-CP and effective from January 1, 2022, running a yellow light is a violation of the same road traffic law. like running a red light.
