Last week, Russia announced that it had destroyed a logistics center in Odessa where a shipment of foreign weapons was being stored. In response, Ukraine claimed that several Russian missiles hit residential buildings, killing civilians.

Both Russia and Ukraine deny attacking civilian targets and accuse each other of war crimes.

After Russia began conducting a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, the US, NATO and the European Union (EU) increased the supply of weapons to Ukraine. However, Germany has not yet supplied heavy weapons such as tanks, cannons and armored vehicles to Ukraine.

Russia has repeatedly objected to the West’s continuous sending of weapons to Ukraine, accusing it of having a significant impact on the peace negotiation process. Moscow also warned against targeting foreign arms convoys passing through Ukraine.
