Thanos and the 7 main villains of the MCU survive in more than one movie
If you notice, the main villains in the MCU movies mostly share the same fate, namely being killed right in the movie. However, these eight names are still alive after many movies:
1. Abomination

Ross is probably the main enemy Bruce Banner faces in the movie The Indredible Hulk. But the ultimate enemy he must fight in a confrontation of power is the Abomination or Emil Blonsky.
Later, Abomination was confirmed to be still alive.
2. Loki

Loki is a much-loved villain in the MCU and even has an interesting development process. ANot only did he survive a movie, but he also had a TV series of his own.
Loki is the only villain in the MCU to date to have achieved great success in the TV series.
3. Red Skull

The fate of Red Skull at the end of Captain America: The First Avengers is indeed an “open ending”. That means his fate is still ambiguous at the end of the movie, it is clear that he is still alive and not killed in the first movie.
Later, the Red Skull became the guardian of the Soul Stone and reappeared in Infinity War and Endgame.
4. Helmut Zemo

The conflict between the Cap and Iron Man factions in Captain America Civil War would be boring without the appearance of Baron Zemo. Even though he is just an ordinary person with no power, Zemo can still turn the whole world upside down, causing the Earth’s mightiest people to tear each other apart.
Zemo is not killed at the end of the film, but he is captured and held in custody ever since. He was released from prison when Falcon and the Winter Soldier needed his help.
5. Vulture

Basically, Spider-Man doesn’t kill anyone if he can, which is why Vulture didn’t die in the first movie.
He nearly died from an explosion from his flying device but was saved by Peter Parker. Perhaps this character still has a role to play in the next Spider-Man movies.
6. Ghost

Originally a male hacker in the comics, the character Ghost was turned into a villain by the filmmakers in “Ant-Man and the Wasp”. The reason given was that they needed an anti-hero that matched the father-son theme of the superhero work.
With the ability to go through walls and become invisible, Ghost has made our superheroes miserable. It turns out that Ghost’s real name is Ava Starr – the child who survived the quantum accident, she is not a bad guy at all.
Not only surviving a movie, Ghost also became friends with Ant-Man and The Wasp because she needed the help of Hank Pym and the others.
7. Yon-Rogg

Jude-Law’s character, who we initially thought was Mar-Vell, turned out to be Yon-Rogg – who became Carol Danvers’ nemesis.
Indeed, compared to Captain Marvel’s great strength, Yon-Rogg was so disproportionate that he was defeated. But Carol didn’t kill him, instead Carol sent Yon-Rogg back to the Kree Empire.
8. Thanos

Thanos is the main antagonist in the Infinity Saga, who has appeared as a guest in several movies. But his appearance as the main villain is in the movie Avengers: Infinity Warwhere he not only survives but wins at the end of the movie.
