I’m currently a 3rd year student, next term I will do my graduation thesis to graduate. The place where I study is a university in the top of the economic field, in the past it was very difficult for me to get here. Honestly, it’s also one of my most outstanding achievements to date. But when I entered the University, I myself had to face many worries.
I live in a remote province, travel is not easy, I only go home a few times a year. My family is not well off, especially the tuition at this school is quite high. My parents gave birth to me quite late, now they are also old, I don’t want them to have to worry about it anymore. Within the first 4 terms of the University, I got scholarships, and paid the tuition fees. But just relying on scholarships is not enough.
As for the money for the dormitory, for food and living expenses, for transportation… I don’t want to bother my parents much. At the end of my 2nd year of university, I worked part-time to cover the above expenses. My friends my age have been working since freshman year, so at this time I think I also need to “get to work” right away. Either way, there has to be a little bump in the life out there.
I apply for a part-time position of a enterprise, in charge of business data analysis. The salary here is about 2 million – 2 and a half million / month depending on the volume and report of the work to be done. The boss is very good, he guides me little by little. And recently, he made me even more impressed by doing a meaningful act.
It’s not this term, it’s due to pay the tuition fee, but last term, unfortunately, I lost my scholarship. If I missed exactly 0.1 point, I was accepted, which made me both regret and worry. Without the scholarship, I don’t know how to pay the tuition.
One day, while I was working, I was so sorry that I cried. At that time, everyone left and I stayed at the company alone. And the boss saw the moment I cried. He asked me what was wrong. Indeed, at that time, I only confided and recounted, but did not want to transmit negative energy to my boss. Then my boss asked me how much my tuition fee this semester, I replied 14 million dong.
The next morning, my boss gave me an envelope with 15 million VND in it when the whole room went to lunch and I was there alone. I was very surprised, asked the boss what money this is, he gently said: “I’ll take the tuition fee for this semester.”
My eyes were filled with tears, but my heart was shy: “But I don’t want to bother you, boss.”

When you graduate from school, you will pay me. Don’t think too much, study is the most important thing. After you graduate from school, just stick with the company because I believe you are a capable person.”
After listening to the boss’s words, my heart was extremely emotional and choked. I thank him for this help. I will definitely repay the favor as soon as possible. This is a great source of positive energy after my days of thinking and worrying. The boss understands, he is not afraid to spend his own money to help a part-time student like me.
