In the 4.0 era, with the development of technology, many people choose to approach knowledge through modern media such as smartphones, laptops, tablets, televisions… But the importance of books are still intact. Reading is still considered an effective method of learning, supplementing knowledge, as a spiritual food that brings interesting experiences to readers.

According to educational experts, for students, books are also a teacher, helping them cultivate knowledge, stimulate their brains, increase their ability to think, analyze, create, and nurture their souls. From there, they build for themselves the knowledge and skills foundation, know how to treat people and have an open view of the world around to become global citizens in the new era.

“Understanding the importance of books for the development of students, we are interested in investing and developing library space every year,” said a representative of the Asian International School. At the school library, students can read books, look up documents, exchange, share ideas, organize group meetings or relax after class sessions.

Asian School Library is designed with open space including reading area and relaxation area. Both areas are equipped with many seats for learning and entertainment needs such as study tables and chairs, colorful recliners, air cushions, sofas…

Besides traditional resources, the school also invests in an electronic library system to help students connect with global knowledge sources. The model of a book library and an electronic library in the direction of Learning Commons with regularly updated information helps students to search, read, research and discuss issues of interest by themselves.

Color is considered one of the highlights of Asian School’s library space. “Colors are meant to stimulate creativity, perception, and memory, so a reading space with its own color will help arouse students’ passion for reading,” the school representative shared. .

Since opening, the library has contributed to promoting a reading culture in Asia School. The library is always one of the places that attract many students of the school.

“Not only providing a dynamic learning environment with experiential and inspiring educational methods to help students touch reality, Asian School also creates all conditions for them to access knowledge, form good habits. accustomed to self-training”, the school representative confirmed.

The Asian International School belongs to the Group of Asian International Education (GAIE) including: Asian International School (Asian School), Institute of Asian Studies (IAS) and Saigon International University (SIU). Established in 1999, GAIE is one of the major educational and scientific research systems in Vietnam.

Admission at Asian International School:

Primary School (IPS):
Direct admission of students to grade 1.
From Grade 2 to Grade 5: Assessing student’s academic performance (good academic performance or better, good conduct) and English proficiency test for placement in an international English program.

Secondary School (AHS):
Direct recruitment of students graduating from grade 5 at the primary level of Asian International School;
Admission of students’ academic results (good academic performance or better, good conduct) and English proficiency test to place all other students in an international English program.
