On the morning of May 3, Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Dinh Dung (Chief of Police of De Tham ward, Cao Bang city) said that the incident in the clip happened at 22:00 on April 28 and has been resolved.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Dung, the man who slapped the girl in the clip was the deputy head of the Song Bang ward police station.
Colonel Vu Hong Quang added that this is a personal matter, not a mission. In the immediate future, the province has directed to temporarily suspend this officer’s work to verify and clarify, the unit will handle it until there is a violation.
