In the pilot phase, Hanoi city will use the digital map platform provided by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment or the digital map platform provided by the Ministry of Information and Communications, directly the Vietnam Post Corporation (Vietnam Post).

One of the tasks will be focused on collecting and updating the national address database by Hanoi. Accordingly, it is expected that in June, Vietnam Post will coordinate with the Department of Information and Communications, Department of Tourism; The Hanoi police and the People’s Committees of the districts participated in the trial implementation to collect and update basic information fields for a number of subjects within the scope of implementing the test plan in the area of ​​Ha Noi city. In the field of fire prevention and fighting, the Hanoi People’s Committee determined to effectively exploit the existing digital address data of related objects in the area of ​​Hanoi city; at the same time, integrating digital address data of objects: fire hydrants, water tanks, natural water sources…. with digital maps for fire prevention and fighting in Hanoi city.

As for the postal sector, encouraging postal businesses in Hanoi city to effectively exploit and apply the digital address platform to improve the quality of management, transportation and delivery activities. .

According to the roadmap, the connection of the digital address platform in the tourism sector with the digital map for smart tourism development in Hanoi will be done in June.
