Surprised with the average age of up to 62 years of FPT Board of Directors
At the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on April 7, 2022, JSC FPT elected new members of the Board of Directors (BOD) for the term 2022 -2027.
The special thing is, the key members of FPT are all at a fairly advanced age.
In which, the oldest employee is Mr. Hiroshi Yokotsuka, a newly elected member of the Board of Directors for the term 2022 – 2027. Mr. Yokotsuka was born in 1951, currently 71 years old.

After Mr. Yokotsuka were 4 re-appointed members including Mr. Truong Gia Binh who was reappointed to the position of member cum Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Bui Quang Ngoc was re-appointed to the position of member cum Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Do Cao Bao and Mr. Jean Charles Belliol were re-appointed as members of the Board of Directors.
In which, Mr. Truong Gia Binh and Mr. Bui Quang Ngoc were both born in 1956, currently 66 years old. Mr. Do Cao Bao was born in 1957, currently 65 years old. Mr. Jean Charles Belliol was born in 1958, currently 64 years old. At the end of the 2022-2027 term, these members are all around 70 years old.
In particular, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Mr. Bui Quang Ngoc and Mr. Do Cao Bao are key personnel who have accompanied FPT since its establishment in 1988. Up to now, 3 people have accompanied FPT for 34 years and the end of the term in 2027 will be 39 years.
Another foreign member of the Board of Directors in FPT is Mr. Hampapur Rangadore Binod, born in 1962, 60 years old this year. Mr. Binod is an Indian, has joined Infosys (the 4th largest Indian IT company in the world) from the beginning and has been with us for 28 years.
In addition, the FPT Board of Directors for the term 2022 – 2027 appointed a female member, Ms. Tran Thi Hong Linh. Ms. Linh is also the youngest member of the Board of Directors. Linh was born in 1979, corresponding to 43 years old. She used to work at Transport Construction Corporation 4, Hanoi Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company (Hapharco), Vietnam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation (Vocarimex).
Currently, Ms. Linh is concurrently holding the position of Deputy Head of Investment Department 4 State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) and is a member of the Board of Directors, the representative of SCIC capital at JSC Meteorological Hydrology and Environment. Vietnam (Hymetco).
The current average age of 7 FPT Board members is 62 years old, which is the oldest board of directors in Vietnam’s stock market.
