Taking advantage of planting trees, building houses next to Tan Phu-Lien Khuong highway: No compensation will be provided
That is information that Mr. Ngo Van Ninh – Chief of Office of Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee said when talking about the progress of carrying out procedures before starting the construction of 2 expressways Tan Phu – Bao Loc and Bao Loc – Lien Khuong.
Mr. Ninh also said that drawing from the experience of some other provinces, before the highway construction, people put trees and materials to build houses to receive compensation and site clearance. However, in Lam Dong, if people take advantage of the night to plant trees and build works, the province will definitely not compensate.

Forest rangers use drones to determine the current status of forests, land, and structures next to the expressway from Tan Phu to Lien Khuong. Illustration.
The Tan Phu – Bao Loc expressway has a length of 66km, the project implementation cost is about 16,220 billion VND, of which the state budget accounts for 6,500 billion VND.
Meanwhile, the Bao Loc – Lien Khuong section has a total length of 73.5km with 4 lanes, a width of 17m in the first stage, in the phase of expanding the highway foundation, it will increase to 24.7m. Total investment in the divergence period is about 11,311 billion VND.
Therefore, the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province has sent a document to assign the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the People’s Committees of districts and cities that have the Tan Phu-Bao Loc and Bao Loc-Lien Khuong expressways passing through and The investor proposes the project to use drones for preliminary survey and assessment of the current status of forests, land and architectural works within the expected scope of site clearance for construction.
Talking to PV Dan Viet, a representative of Lam Dong Provincial Forest Protection Department said that the use of drones to determine the current status of forests, land, and architecture under the direction of the province, officials must directly walk in the forest. . Up to now, the status inspection team has carried out for about 1 month, but the length of the above route has not been completed yet.

Determining the current status of forests, land and works along the expressway from Tan Phu to Lien Khuong will avoid complaints during the compensation and site clearance process.
According to Mr. Ngo Van Ninh, Lam Dong province is currently completing the application procedures to start construction of the two highways above. It is expected that in 2025 or 2026 at the latest, the entire route will be completed and put into operation.
