University of Transport Technology reduced the quota from the graduation exam
With the admission method by 2022 high school graduation exam scores, the University of Transport Technology spends 20-40% of the target, much lower than the 55% last year.
According to the proposed plan for university enrollment in 2022, the University of Transport Technology maintains the target of 3,000 as in 2021 for three campuses: Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, and Thai Nguyen. However, the school uses an additional method of admission and redistributes the quota ratio of each method.

This year, for the first time, the University of Transport Technology used the results of the competency assessment and thinking assessment to enroll students. The school spends 20-40% of the target on this method.
In addition, the school still considers direct admission in combination, applied to candidates who have won provincial prizes or higher; have an international English certificate (equivalent to IELTS 5.0), and at the same time achieve a good student in a high school year or a total score of three subjects in a combination in grade 12 at least 24. The norm for this method is 20% and only applied used at the Hanoi facility.
With the method of reviewing academic records, candidates must have a total average score of 12th grade in a subject combination of 18 or more. Along with that, the University of Transport Technology still enrolls students according to the results of the high school graduation exam. Both the academic record and the test scores, each method of recruiting 20-40% of the target.
The majors accept four selection combinations including A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English), except Environmental engineering technology considers combination B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology) and does not consider D01.
The school started accepting applications for direct admission and academic records from mid-March, expected to end at the end of July.
Benchmark 2021 of the University of Transport, there is a rather large difference between the three institutions. With the Hanoi facility, the logistics and supply chain management industry got the highest score – 25.7, an increase of 1.7 points compared to last year. Three majors of Construction Engineering Technology, Traffic Engineering Technology, Environmental Engineering Technology only got 15.5 points. The remaining industries mainly take the standard score above 20.
The two campuses, Thai Nguyen and Vinh Phuc, both take the standard score of 15 for all training disciplines, equal to 2020.
