Virtual day off at Bat Trang Pottery Museum and enjoy a cup of coffee from above

Bat Trang Pottery Museum was built on an area of ​​3,700 m2. On number 28 overlooking Bac Hung Hai canal in hamlet 5, Bat Trang commune, Gia Lam district, Hanoi city. Only a few meters from Bat Trang pottery village and about 20km from the center of the capital.

In 2018, under the design of architect Hoang Thuc Hao – a man who always has a lot of unique creative ideas, the project was completed after 3 years with a total investment of up to 150 billion VND.

The first impression that Bat Trang Ceramic Museum gives visitors is 7 giant spirals inspired by ceramic claws, with multi-faceted curved surfaces that are soft, free and intertwined. create a unique “masterpiece”.

When we step closer to look from below, although those spiral lines have not changed, we feel like we are lost in the Siq canyon – where the entrance to the world famous Petra citadel in Jordan is located. When viewed from the river side, it is like the fierce flow of the Red River when the alluvial season comes, making everyone admire and be amazed.

What is special about the ceramic museum?

The first floor specializes in displaying fine art products. The 2nd and 3rd floors are the central area of ​​the Bat Trang Ceramic Museum, which specializes in displaying artistic ceramic products throughout the process of formation and development of Bat Trang pottery village, including glaze lines from ancient to modern, with the change in color, shape and decorative motifs on the ceramic…helps visitors have an overview of the history of the craft village.

The top floor – the rooftop is considered the most special area at Bat Trang Ceramics Museum, because it is like an outdoor cafe on a large scale. Every place is placed green pots according to each season, helping visitors to comfortably relax under the clouds.
