Woman comes to life at her own funeral
According to Metro, a funeral in Peru was interrupted because of a strange and rare incident. The incident caused a stir in the media over the past few days.
Specifically, on April 26, relatives and friends of Ms. Rosa Isabel Cespedes Callaca gathered at the funeral in Lambayeque city to pay their respects before taking her to her final resting place. The doctor declared Rosa dead after a serious accident on the Chiclayo-Picsi road.

The accident not only took Rosa’s life, but also killed her brother-in-law, and seriously injured her nephews.
Rosa was put into a wooden coffin in the presence of relatives. However, while moving the coffin to the burial place, people heard strange sounds like pounding from inside.
They lowered the coffin, opened the lid, and were surprised to see Rosa opening her eyes. Rosa’s face was pale, she looked weak, but it was clear that she was… still alive.
The scene at the funeral stunned everyone. Rosa was still alive and moving weakly.
Cemetery manager Juan Segundo Cajo said: “She opened her eyes to look at us and was sweating profusely. I immediately went to call the police.
Shocked relatives rushed Rosa, still lying in a coffin, to Referential Hospital Ferrenafe in Lambayeque.
Once there, Rosa was found to have signs of life but very weak. She was taken by medical staff to the intensive care unit, with a ventilator. But the situation did not improve, it got worse and worse. A few hours later, Rosa “officially” took her last breath.
Rosa’s family, who have had to say goodbye twice, are now asking the authorities for a definitive answer. They expressed outrage when doctors hastily declared her dead shortly after the accident.

An aunt of Rosa’s (who remains anonymous) told local media in Lambayeque: “We wanted to know why my niece ‘wasted up’ yesterday, when we took her for burial. We have videos in which she pushes her hand and touches the coffin.”
Rosa’s family suspects she may have fallen into a deep coma following the collision. The doctor hastily declared her dead without a thorough examination.
Peruvian police are currently investigating the incident that happened at Lambayeque Regional Hospital – where Rosa was taken to the emergency room immediately after the accident.
