Body found in the sewer
DanangThe man’s body was discovered in the sewer next to the Han market, next to the pliers with an electric cable attached.
At about 10:00 a.m. on May 4, many households living at the beginning of Hung Vuong Street (near the intersection with Bach Dang, in Hai Chau district) suddenly lost power. The power company sent workers to check the cable lines. When opening the manhole cover in front of kiosk 24 of Han market, workers discovered a dead human arm.

The rescue police and the electricity side opened the sewer to search for all the bodies. At the scene, the functional force discovered a force pliers still attached to the electric cable, which is believed to be the victim’s.
Colonel Tran Phuoc Huong, Chief of Hai Chau District Police, said the initial cause of death was due to theft of the cable and electric shock. It is possible that this person followed the sewer line to the area where the power cable was cut and had an accident.
The road on the side of the Han market is blocked. At 5:00 p.m., the rescue force was continuing to bring the body up for an autopsy.
