Da Nang spends 400 billion to build social apartments for people with meritorious services to the revolution

Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People’s Committee Ho Ky Minh has just signed a decision to adjust a number of contents of the project of building social apartment complexes to arrange for families with revolutionary merits with housing difficulties in the city. period 2020-2025.

Regarding the construction scale, according to the decision of the People’s Committee of Da Nang City, the apartment buildings will be built from 5 to 12 floors, with appropriate elevator arrangement, comfortable architecture… The total investment of the project is 400 billion VND with 400 apartments. In which, phase 1 is about 209 billion dong, phase 2 and 3 is about 191 billion dong.

Accordingly, phase 1 (2020 – 2024) implements construction investment and completes 209 priority apartments for families with meritorious services to the revolution at Vu Mong Nguyen street, Khue My ward. Ngu Hanh Son district. The land consists of 32 lots with a total area of ​​about 3,122m2.

Phase 2 (from 2023 – 2025) continues to invest in the construction of a number of apartments in the city center land (Hai Chau district or Thanh Khe district under the direction of the Chairman of the City People’s Committee in Official Dispatch). number 6820). Assign the Department of Construction to coordinate with relevant units to select the appropriate land area to continue the implementation.

Phase 3 (2024 – 2025) will continue to invest in the construction of the remaining apartments, arrange for families of people with meritorious services to the revolution in housing difficulties, in the land area with address at Truong Vinh Ky street (Hoa Chau ward, Hoa Vang district). This land area has an area of ​​​​about 3,034m2, which has been approved for planning as a reserve land, currently managed by the City Land Fund Development Center.

The objective of the project is to arrange for rent 400 apartments for families of people who have made meritorious services to the revolution who have not yet had a house or houses with small area, large population, many generations living together, creating favorable conditions for people to live together. families with stable housing. The minimum rental period for apartments for people with meritorious services to the revolution is 5 years. When the lease contract expires, it will be extended depending on the specific conditions and circumstances of the family.

Accordingly, the hired subjects were revolutionary activists from before January 1, 1945 to the date of the August uprising in 1945.
