Germany, India cooperate on green development
The South Asian country will receive 10 billion euros in aid by 2030 to promote the use of clean energy.
The agreements were signed within the framework of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Germany. The contents of the cooperation agreement include technical assistance to increase the use of renewable energy and hydrogen energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, protect biodiversity and improve agricultural land use.
On this occasion, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz also invited India to attend the meeting of the Group of 7 industrialized economies in Germany at the end of June.
