Petrol prices continue to rise

The Inter-Ministry of Industry, Trade and Finance decided to increase gasoline prices in the operating period on May 4.

Accordingly, the price of gasoline E5 RON 92 from 3pm on May 4 is 27,460 VND per liter, an increase of 330 VND per liter.

RON 95 gasoline is priced at 28,430 VND per liter (an increase of 440 VND). Diesel price increased by 180 VND/liter, to 25,530 VND/liter.

Kerosene price remained unchanged at 23,820 VND/liter. And madut oil decreased by 240 dong per kg, to 21,560 dong.

Gasoline prices continue to increase slightly

The operating agency continues to not spend the petroleum stabilization fund for commodities, except madut oil, the spending level is still 250 VND per kg. At the same time, increase the amount set aside for the Stabilization Fund with RON95 gasoline to 400 dong per liter, and E5 RON92 gasoline to 300 dong. The rate of deduction to the Stabilization Fund for each liter of diesel oil is 100 VND, and kerosene is 119 VND. Madut oil is not deducted from the fund.

According to the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Finance, the world market has had mixed movements over the past 10 days. The international price of finished petroleum products has increased and decreased, but the general trend is to increase for gasoline and diesel; kerosene was stable, while madut oil fell. For example, the price of RON92 gasoline (the type used to mix E5 RON92 gasoline) is 1.6% more expensive than 10 days ago, RON95 increased by about 2.2%, diesel oil increased by 0.5%…
