President Zelensky also sent condolences to the relatives of the victims in the aforementioned accident.

According to AFP news agency, the accident does not appear to be related to Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, which has dragged on for a third month. The Ukrainian leader did not mention any connection between the accident and the military situation in his speech.

Over the past few weeks, Russia has focused its attacks on eastern and southern Ukraine, and sometimes parts of western Ukraine have been hit by air strikes.
