‘Spider-Man’ climbs a 326m-high tower bare-handed to protest against abortion

A man has been arrested in the city of San Francisco, California (USA) after climbing the Salesforce tower empty-handed, which is believed to be against abortion.

The man mentioned above, calling himself “Spider-Man for Life”, was arrested on the afternoon of May 3, according to the newspaper The Guardian today. The San Francisco Fire Department confirmed the incident on Twitter and encouraged the public to condemn the man’s actions.

With a height of more than 326 meters and 60 stories, the Salesforce Tower is the 17th tallest building in the US and the tallest in San Francisco.

This person appeared to be trying to protest against an abortion service provider, according to tweets on his Instagram account. This person has taken similar extreme actions to attract attention, including climbing a hotel more than 182 meters high in August 2021 to protest mandatory regulations on health Covid-19 in the state.

Earlier on May 2, a leaked 98-page draft ruling showed that the US Supreme Court was about to overturn a 1973 ruling legalizing abortion.
