A mother in Korea hires someone to watch over her son to prevent him from falling asleep while studying-Young

A mother in an affluent area of ​​Seoul (Korea) posted a job posting to sit next to her son while he studied and wake him up when he fell asleep. The recruitment of this mother is being shared by Korean netizens with many comments.

But the way to help a mother’s child in Daechi-dong, an area in Gangnam (Seoul, South Korea), is perhaps quite strange, so it has become “hot news” for Korean netizens.

The Daechi-dong area is known for its cram schools and highly competitive schools. This is probably why this mother is impatient for her son’s education. She posted a recruitment notice on social networks, writing that she wanted to hire someone who only had to sit next to her son while he was studying at the learning cafe (the model of a rather quiet cafe where students often come to school), then if the boy falls asleep, wake him up.

With this simple responsibility, the hired person will be paid 3,000 won/hour (55,000 VND).

This mother explained, her son is a first year student of a high school in Daechi-dong and he really needs to study well so as not to be “out of breath” compared to his classmates.

The recruitment notice states: “All you need to do is sit next to my son and wake him up if he falls asleep. If you feel it needs sleep, let it sleep for 15 minutes, then wake it up. Make sure my child takes a 10-minute break every hour and then resumes studying after the break.”

The responsibility is so simple, but the candidate also needs to meet a few requirements: Not being able to leave the chair often, not typing on the computer making noise, not watching videos, movies…

The recruitment news of the above mother did not receive the support of Korean netizens. They wrote comments like:

“With so many conditions, the salary is a bit low, you can only recruit one person who is also sitting at that bar to study and earn more, otherwise, if you don’t, you may even fall asleep before that boy.”

“I feel sorry for the student, studying but still having someone to supervise so he can’t sleep.”
